Bijli Mahadev , Kullu ( Himachal Pradesh )

Bijli Mahadev is one of the famous temple situated in Kullu district of  Himachal Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva . It is located  at about 2,460m above sea level .   It is one of the ancient temple in India which is dedicated to lord  Shiva . It is about 26 km from Kullu across the Beas river, it can be reach by  trek . The trek is about 3 kilometers which takes only half or more than half hour to reach the temple . 

The temple is situated on  top of the hill and you can see entire parvati valley, bhuntar , Kullu etc. from here.  It is one of the best place in Kullu distt. of Himachal Pradesh . Best time to visit Bijli Mahadev is in summers . In winters , this area is extremely cold and also covered with heavy snow . It is very difficult  to reach here in winters .
