BadiDhar , Arki ( Himachal Pradesh )

BadiDhar is a one of the holy place situated in Arki , Distt. Solan of Himachal Pradesh . It is situated at an elevation of 2066 meters above sea level . There is a famous temple dedicated to  Pandavas . There also many other temples such as Shiv temple and  Goddess Buda Devi temple . BadiDhar is a popular religious destination in Solan Distt. of Himachal Pradesh .  These temples are situated at top of hill .

In ancient time , Pandavas spent a year of their exile in this hill . There is a famous temple dedicated to Pandavas where every year a fair is organised by temple committee and local people in the month of June  . BadiDhar fair is a famous fair of Solan Distt . On this day , movement of people are maximum because people from whole distt. Gather  there .

BadiDhar is situated at a distance of 60 km from Shimla . It is  about 10 km from Piplughat . It can be easily reach by car or bus . Bus service is available from Solan to Badidhar . It can also reach by trek from Buila (Saryanj) . The trek is about 4 km . By trekking from Buila (Saryanj) magnificent and adorable view of Shimla hills can be seen .It is the best tourist destination to be visit in summers . Every year , many people visit there . This place is best for trekking and camping etc . Adventure seekers visit there to explore the place .
