BHAGSUNAG WATERFALL , McLEODGANJ

 

The Bhagsu Nag waterfall is one of the popular tourist destination in McLeodganj . It is situated near Bhagsu village in McLeodganj ( distt. Kangra ) of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated about 6960 feet above the sea level. There is also a Bhagsunag  temple dedicated to Lord Shiva . Bhagsunag is about 7 km from Dharamshala and about 3 km from McLeodganj . The scenic view of this place is extremely beautiful . There is also a small trek from Bhagsunag temple to Bhagsunag Waterfall . It takes 10-15 minutes to reach Bhagsunag Waterfall from temple . 

 For better exploring the  best time to visit Bhagsunag Waterfall is June to September because of pleasant climate. This place is a popular picnic spot for locals as well as for Tourists .  In  winters , this place is covered with snow . 

Trekking is the best option to visit Bhagsunag waterfall from McLeodganj . It is about 3 km from McLeodganj . This is the best tourist destination in McLeodganj to be visit . Many tourists from all over India and also foriegn tourists visits here anually.
