DAL LAKE , DHARAMSHALA

Dal lake is situated near to Tota-Rani village in Dharamshala , Himachal Pradesh . It is small and beautiful lake situated at a elevation of 1775 mtr above sea level . The lake is surrounded by deodar trees which are magnificent . There is a temple dedicated to lord Shiva on its bank . The  water of lake is greenish in colour . There are different kinds of fishes in the lake . The view of landscape and lake is very beautiful . It is very popular tourist spot/destination of Distt. Kangra . Every year fair is organised in the month of September on the bank of dal Lake . This is the spiritual fair  because this fair is dedicated to the lord Shiva .
